About Us
The Children’s Laughter Foundation is based in Dallas, Texas. The foundation is in its initial stage of development and will soon file for tax-exempt status as a public charitable organization under IRC Section 501 (c) (3) at which time it will become eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions in accordance with IRC Section 170.
Purpose
One of the most beautiful sounds in the world is that of young children laughing. Children find themselves free to laugh when they feel safe, comfortable, secure, happy, healthy and loved. Unfortunately, not all children live in such a peaceful, comfortable and secure existence. Those who do are truly blessed. Our purpose at The Children’s Laughter Foundation is to positively impact children’s lives, removing all obstacles and barriers that create concern for children, so they find themselves in an environment where they are free to laugh, grow, develop and enjoy a happy healthy life.
Mission
Our mission is to raise awareness and financial support for the physical, psychological, social and educational needs of children by providing support to charitable organizations and agencies whose primary mission is focused on:
Preventing child abduction and exploitation
Preventing child abuse and neglect
Preventing child homelessness and hunger
Advancing children’s medical treatment and research
Advancing children’s educational development and self esteem
Providing for these most basic needs of children, will serve to create an environment where all children are free to laugh and love life.
